On Thursday I am
leaving Atlanta and arriving back home in Minnesota for Christmas break until
January 6
th! It is going to be awesome to be back home and spend
time with my family. It has been a great first semester here in Gainesville,
but a break will be nice. Between work, youth group and building a community
between the interns, life can be exhausting! It will be relaxing to sit and
talk with my friends and family for a while.

I can’t wait go
home and go snowboarding in the snow! It doesn’t even feel like Christmas
because there is no snow here!!! I mean, honestly, how can you even get into
the spirit of Christmas without snow…it doesn’t even work! I can’t wait to see
my brother and sister…I can’t believe I just said that! J It is so great to finally get a long with
my brother and sister and just love on each other while we are together! Please
pray for safe travel, as all of us interns go home for Christmas, and that we
can just spend an awesome Christmas together with our families…no drama.

Tomorrow, my last
day in Georgia, we don’t have work, but instead we are having a debrief session
with Dave and Vicki to discuss the first half of our trip. We are having brunch
at their house and then going to a movie. In the evening, we are going to our
youth group party that we are in charge of. Please pray that everything goes
well and that we all have an awesome time together!

Can’t wait to see all
of you back in Minnesota! I will blog as much as possible back home. Oh, I almost forgot! Go Vikings! I can’t believe that
they have won 5 straight games and are looking like they are headed into the Wild
Card! Who would have guessed! Also…Adrian Peterson in the Pro Bowl! (If you are
wondering why I am so excited about the Vikings, last night I got to watch my
first Vikings)

  1. Have a good trip home….enjoy the holidays
with your family; say hi to them from us!
It’s our prayer that you can be the same good witness and encouragement to your younger siblings as you have been to those you work with. Love you. Safe trip!
