A couple of weeks ago, I told you about an opportunity of going to Swaziland as a support leader. I knew that I personally really wanted to do it, but there was the matter of raising another $4000 that made it less appealing. I had been praying about it constantly, and wasn’t really hearing a whole lot back. I decided that I wouldn’t get frustrated, but put it in His hands instead. Last week, during our Monday night, Dave told said that he had news for us. He told us that because of all the hard work we have been doing in the office, that if we wanted to go to our trips, it would be completely free!

Now I’m not sure, but if that isn’t a kick from God, then I don’t know what is. I have no reason to turn my back and say no. I will follow what He has for me during this once in a lifetime opportunity. Please continue to pray for me and my future teammates on this Swaziland trip.

Also, this weekend I am being a leader for Disciple Now. That consists of me spending the entire weekend with the middle school boys at a host home from the church. It is an intense weekend of discipleship. Getting to bond and grow in the Lord together. An entire weekend, day and night, with middle school boys…prayer would be appreciated. Thank you!

  1. I am so pumped for you Seth.
I, too, had been praying about this trip.
What am AMAZING answer to prayer.
    He is SO GOOD!
I will pray for you this weekend as you disciple these middle school boys.
You should be pretty good at it, given the fact that you have your OWN middle school little brother!
(Who misses you terribly, by the way!)
    I love you Seth!

  2. Hey Seth:

So excited for you….God is good – all the
time God is good! (Our pastor has his congregation answer back like that ocassionally during services.) This trip will be a wonderful experience. We
will keep praying for you and the team.

When is it you will be in Montvale, Seth?
Karin & Kim plan to be there – is it Palm
Sunday? What time? Maybe you could email
Karin at [email protected] and Kim at
[email protected] I am not sure they had the
time. Wish we could be there too but we
are in sunny Florida and enjoying that so much.

Our prayers are with you this weekend too as
you spend time with these middle school age children. I am sure you will be a real encouragement to them. Love Ellie

  3. Again, we’re seeing answers to pray. Praise God. We’re proud of you for your faithfulness and waiting on Him and not becoming worried, upset and impatient, which we all so often do. He’s teaching you great lessons and through you, He’s teaching all of us lessons to JUST TRUST HIM.
We’ll continue to pray and seek His leading during this exciting time in your life.
We love you and miss you!
