I know that you have all heard it
before but I am actually super busy! Work has been crazy lately, we finally got
the okay to move forward with the new website. It was a bit of a challenge, but
we got our point across and now I will be working on templates with Em for our
new website! It is going to be awesome! I am also working on rewriting all the
power point presentations at the church I am going to. They are out of date and
hard to read, so why not add to the work I have to do! We are also running into
the problem of kids in Africa not blogging. In
order to blog in Africa, you have to go to an internet café which consists of 7
computers (there are 40 kids in Africa that
need to post blogs every week). In order to post one blog, it takes 2 hours,
which explains why they aren't blogging every week. So, the new idea is that
the kids send me their blogs and I post them on their blog page. I am going to
busy! So pray that I can keep a positive attitude while I am down here!

            On a
lighter note, church is going amazing! I have really been connecting with the
youth there! I have decided to work the middle school kids (even though at
first I didn't want to). I really wanted to work with the high school kids,
because I felt like I could connect with them better, but God saw differently. I
love working with these boys and we are having a really good time! The room
that we meet in on Sundays and Wednesdays was a mess! It was 3 couches in a
room that is being used as a storage closet. A lot of the kids were complaining
about it. So last Monday, Caleb and I spent like 3 hours clearing out the room
and organizing it! It looks really great and when the boys saw it on Wednesday,
they were really excited about it! I am hoping that we can have a day where the
boys come and paint the room the way they want it! I think that would be a cool
experience! Continue to pray for me as I connect with the youth here!

            Also, a
really cool thing…every week I read and comment on the blogs of the kids we
sent down to Matamoros, Mexico. It's a lot of blogs to read
every week and sometimes I don't want to because I don't even think the kids
are reading my comments. Here is the last part of what John Cochran wrote on
his latest blog update:

To Tank I love you and tell your church and family I am
praying for them. And you too Seth since you are my biggest fan.

It was encouraging to see that I am making a difference in
the comments that I am writing! I read your comments every week and believe me,
they do make a difference! Thank you for you encouragements every week! I am so
blessed to be down here and working for the Lord! He is my rock and I can feel
Him working in my life everyday! I am leaving for Minnesota on the 1st to see my
family for a week so pray that I get their safely! I am excited to see them!
